DAY 27 Of our Seabourn African & Indian Exploration aboard Seabourn Sojourn.
A short trip around Langkawi, Malaysia with the most boring guide ever.  Never mind, it does happen sometimes and we should just remember how lucky we are to be here!  In our quest for heights, we decided to take the Langkawi Sky-Cab…..

What an engineering feat; almost sheer vertical ride up the Machinchang Mountain, at over 700m/2296ft, the cable car passes over what seems like jungle below to a turning point in the cable system and then on higher to the viewing point.

From the top platform you can access a curved suspension bridge which seemed to be under repair. No chance of another adventure here then!

After the Mountain experience we went to one of the many beaches, which was perfect, completely deserted.  Could have stayed all day.

What little beach we saw was tranquil and very picturesque

One of the few beaches we visited was tranquil and very picturesque

Just a quick whizz round a Padi Field before heading back to the ship to enjoy a drink and watch the sunset from our balcony.  Not today, smoky Joe was out on his balcony smoking again.

A great day in Langkawi, didn’t see too much but what we experienced was brilliant.  Well worth getting off the ship for!
